OS3 @ Jalan Kuchai Lama

It has been a very long time since I have been to anywhere new or heard of a major new place is opening. In one single day, 2 new place open simultaneously! The old YES2 is now reopened as ONYX (Can't they find a more creative name other than to copy Bangkok only) and OS3 at the old Titan Club location.

We decided to try out OS3 instead since it is only the soft opening. This place is a little secluded eventhough it is just at the side of Jalan Kuchai Lama. Very very nice entrance and it is even better inside. We got there at about 10 pm and the place is only 40% occupied. I guess that they have not started to tell many people yet.

Sadly, the service is not that great. We got there and there were no girls ushering us in the place. We have to walk around and find a place to stand/ sit. Then, it took them 10 minutes before the waiter came over to take the order. Still, no girls on our table. Counted that there are about 60 Tom Yum around, and none with us. No problem.

We have decided that this is going to be a short visit here and ordered a tower of beer for RM 180. Whats great is that they have many range of beers available. My favourite Kronenbourg Blanc 1664 - in a tower! Insane...... anyhow, old and trusted Carlsberg will do for today. After like having 2 glasses of beer, the girls started to come over our table. Pretty chatty but everyone here is acting very..... civilised. I was expecting a more rowdy bunch at Kuchai Lama, and I was wrong. They sat with us for only bout 30 minutes and started pushing for flowers. Obviously we said no and they left soon after. But strangely, I did not see many people here giving out flowers like in YES2 or OSS. It is very much under control.

I can say that the stage here is much bigger than in OSS and the lighting effects is the best I've ever seen -  even better than those clubs in London and Berlin! Also, the sound system is clear and crisp..... unlike those cheap bass speakers. They also brought in the DJ from OSS, so, the music is very very good that night. OSS most famous singer, Dreams, is also here! Good fun overall and keep us entertained.

The few girls whom was entertaining us earlier did came back and continue to drink with us. We were like a pit stop. They come over, have a drink, and left us. This process just went on the whole entire night. I guess that we have fun and the place is much better than expected. Rumour have it that they spend more than RM 4 million to do up the place and there will be up to 150 girls packing the joint in 2 weeks time! So guys, if you want the attention, you will definitely find it here.

Oh yeah...... 1 more thing. Of the many things that impresses me here, nothing is as great as the lead guitarist is a small sized girl next door kinda look. But she can really goreng the guitar!
