Wins Club @ Kepong

I receive an email from one of our reader last week commenting that I don't review any local places. It is claimed also by many that I have a preference for Thai joints and should visit some local places as well. In face my TFC brothers, I do go to local joints. The only problem is that I don't speak Mandarin and this limits the amount of fun I have. And it is going to be unfair to review based on my poor Mandarin speaking skills.....

Anyway, I will take our reader's advice and write more of the local places that I have been. So, just last night, my friend and I decided to just go nearby for a simple drink. We went to a pub in Kepong - Wins Club. There is actually quite a lot of positive stuff to write about this place. For one, there is NO valet parking!!!! No need to pay people for standing around the parking area! All Thai TFC sure got tax collector for parking..... without doing any service at all! We I got there about 11 PM and just park at the side of the road..... FREE!!!

Mercury @ Mont Kiara

Curi from their FB.... Sssshhhh

OK guys. Many of you have been asking me to review Mercury and normally my response was.... same as SugarB and OSS previously.... same place and nothing new. But boy am I wrong!!!

So, I got there with a bunch of friends, about 10 of us and some of them are just simply higher roller than me..... they are not extreme high rollers but high enough. We arrive and got a "Valet" parking there. All parking are "Valet"..... you park yourself, no assistance and the guy just come over and ask for RM 20. Must pay..... no pay, have to get out of parking..... bloody high price for parking! But never mind lah, just here to have fun..... right????

Mystique Club @ Cheras Business Center

Trying out a new club just opened on January 2019 n Cheras Business Center and found out it is formerly known as “Mirror Club”.

This is actually “Mirror Club” with a new name / management.  It is located in Block H, Jalan 5/101C, Cheras Business Center beside Yulek Garden.  You can actually noticed it from the roundabout before reaching the traffic light to Yulek Garden.  Car park here is free and there is abundance in from of the shop lot.  Avoid parking infront of the KTV Nightclub as parking charges.

It is a small TFC joint at a size of 2 shop lots with VIP sofas and round pub tables.  Tiger beer towers here is about RM115 before 12am and the liquor price is reasonably priced.  However, the beers here are diluted where you can hardly feel anything after 2 or 3 towers.  There is a CNY promo for 5 towers for RM388++.  You will know it when you tried it.

V Club @ Jalan Imbi

It has been awhile since the last posting as time is quite tight these days.  Nevertheless we managed to check out a new spot that opened since Nov 2019.

It is actually located in the same building as De Vegas Nightclub or Conlay Club in Jalan Imbi beside Berjaya Time Square.  However, it is available in google map if you are using waze or google drive.  There is 2 entrance to the club, either you enter from the main entrance from De Vegas or you can drive to the rear of the building and enter from the small door as in snapshot above.

Car park here is quite pricey in front of De Vegas entrance.  It is RM20 or 15 for valet parkingnbut it is definitely safe.  Well, it is rather recommended you parked here rather than the streets in Jalan Imbi or bukit bintang.

Secret Garden @ Kuchai Lama

Now guys, this is definitely a hidden gem! I have been here once before long ago and it was horrible then. A friend of mine asked me to go to this place again and I was very reluctant. However, he did promise to buy the drinks if I didn't enjoy. With that, of course I say YES lah!

So started the journey and reach the place bout 10 PM. No need to look for parking but there seems to be a simple valet service. Sorry but could not update you guys on the price of this. I took GRAB instead. The place is surrounded with loads of TFC but didn't have time to visit any other places. So, we walked in and the place is just like I remembered it. 2 shoplots and nothing too grand. At 10 PM, it wasn't too heavy as well. Not that many people. Got a place and ordered a bottle of Singleton.

Sugar B Club @ Mont Kiara

Sorry bros... forgot to take pic of entrance.
This is from their FB page.
OK guys, sorry for the MIA in the last 3 months. Was just too busy to pen down anything on this blog. But many things have happen! Went to The Land of Smiles and it was load of fun! I will talk about that another day. But for now, I wanna write a review of this place I went a couple of months back.

At that time, news is out. OSS is coming back. And it will be rename (like all TFC - they just love to rename themselves) Sugar B. Lots of Tom Yam have been posting on their FB and it feels like its gonna be the old OSS style.... lots of quality Tom Yam and lots of fun! So, naturally, we took it upon us to have a site visit and review the place out.

Scott's Club @ Scotts Garden

It have been quite sometime since I wrote here. My bad bro..... been busy hunting Tom Yams around KL!

Quite sometime ago, a reader suggested us to review this place and ...... ya ya ya I know.... old place already but still worth reviewing it. This will definitely be worth your time reading and visiting!

This place is very easy to find. Use Waze or Google Maps to Scotts Garden and it will bring you to the valet parking. The price for the valet is one of the most expensive for a TFC - RM 20! But hey! If you are gonna pop crown with RM 300 or a simple flower at RM 50, pay the man for the service lah.

Go up the escalator and keep on walking straight. Pass Movida and pass Remedy and keep on walking and you will reach Scott's Club on your right. Not too difficult to find. So, me and the gang (this time, only 2 other guys joined us) push open the door and it just look like any simple place. Not too fancy like Paramount or OS 3. Not even OSS standard. More like W Club or Level. It is like 10PM already when we walk in...... and we are table number 3! No customers here.... I was like "F**K". We are definitely not going to last long and started planning to go back to Venus if it is this boring. To make things worst, no girls usher us in at all! In my bloody mind, I am already summarizing my night there - drinking with my buddies, no girls on our table, and a Bangla serving us ice and water with our Whisky. So, to minimise the damage, we order beer instead. The price of beer is not too expensive at RM 159. So, 1 tower for the night. Finish and go to Venus.

De' Club 66 @ Kuchai Business Park

To some party goers the number 66 just means a bus number, a flight number (MH66 to Seoul) or some money game that’s all the hit recently. In Bangkok, Route 66 found at Royal City Avenue (RCA) is as legendary as our Thai Club or Beach Club without all the sleaziness. It has big thai bands, outdoor music and during Songkran or major festivals, it’s just pure party central madness. So when one of my friends told me recently the good old NSK shoplot area has a new 66, I decided to head and check it out. At once!

Platinum Dance Club @One City Mall

There is brand new "upclass" TFC joint we heard it in One City and decided not to try it out immediately.  For non regulars of One City Mall, we highly recommend you park your card at the valet (or anywhere nearby) near Maybank as the underground parking is way too big to maneuver and finding the right elevator is nearly impossible.  Try to get too the elevator nearest to facing the rear of Maybank (whcih is back to back with a mamak) via the side entrance to the mall and you should be very near.  However the side entrance is only opened during mall hours.

The joint is located in the 4th floor and you will find the big entrance with a few well dressed security guys.  The place is so big there are segregated 3 area(s).  The 3 segments are open pub, TFC and karaoke rooms.

DNA Club @ The Scott Garden

I think by now everyone has heard of T-Ruc (Ex Trillion/ Billion fame) and here comes the new re-branding- DNA Club. It is essentially the old T-Ruc only that it’s bigger and bolder. Since everyone got an opinion on how to get to The Scott Garden, then I won’t touch too much on the location. For those who don’t know where the club is, go the up the escalators to 1st floor, and walk towards Beer Factory direction and you will get there. And if you’re a regular at The Scott Garden, then it’s directly behind Movida, facing the Telekom tower/ Mid Valley direction.

Funky Villa @ Scotts Garden

Brothers. Here we are again visiting Scotts Gardens. Some of our readers have asked for this place to be reviewed. So, we went there and have a quick look.

First of all, the valet parking at Scotts Garden is a little bit expensive at RM 20. I would recommend parking at the basement parking only. Much much cheaper. But if you take the valet parking service, here's the direction to Funky Villa. Funky Villa is actually the old Sense Club. For those of you that don't know Sense Club, just follow these instructions. First, use the valet service. Go up the escalator to level 1 and turn left towards Mynews. At Mynews, turn left again and follow the corridor. Keep walking until you see Funky Villa. Simple.

So, getting there is not so difficult. We got there and we got in. I will start with some disappointment. Walk in and no girls greeted us. There was only like 4 tables with customers and there were probably 20 girls already there. Not greeted by anyone. The place look exactly like the old Sense, almost no

Venus Club @ Scott's Garden

Entrance Of Venus Club
This week's TFC hunting brings us to a familiar place. Scott's Garden. Just got news that a new place just sprung up and taken over Remedy's location.

Save on your hotel - www.hotelscombined.com
Welcome to Venus Club! Now, lets just do this step by step. Parking system in Scott's Garden haven't change at all, except it is now RM 20 for the valet service. I guess that now RM 20 is already normal for many places now. A friend of mine ask me why I go and pay for valet parking. The parking in Scott's is easy and cheap..... Hello guys! Hang RM 50 for a girl that sits and drink your alco is OK, RM 20 for someone to park your car is not? Hello..... don't lah be so Kiamsiap!

OSS @ Mont Kiara

It's been a very long time since I walk into OOS. So, decided last night to just drop in and try to have some fun! Boy! Much have changed.

Save on your hotel - www.hotelscombined.com
Let me just begin at the Valet service. Did you know that the charges now is at RM 20? Almost double from the last time I went! Also, they don't allow you to park near the entrance.... all reserved for bosses! WTF. Nevermind.

Second @ One Shamelin Cheras

Was told by a friend of a new place that have just opened about 2 months ago in Shamelin..... yes, the notorious Taman Shamelin...... where TFC started in the first place! According to "sources" (some girls of course), this is actually T RUC 2. Same boss, same prices. Since it is still new, better check it out quick because the quality of girls are usually model level, not just your everyday TFC girl and of course, drinks are cheap!

The place is quite difficult to find and maneuver to get in. Use Waze and got us to the complex and there is a very friendly valet service at the entrance of the complex. Valet service is also quite reasonable at only RM 10 (OSS Valet now ask for RM 20!) If you want to use the parking lot in the complex, also can but its quite empty (was 10 PM already).

AMP Club @ Fraser Business Park, KL

It's been a very long time since we last posted a new TFC. Sorry guys but we have recently only been playing it safe and go to the places that we are used to.
Save on your hotel - www.hotelscombined.com
So, there's this new place that have just open a month ago - AMP Club @ Fraser Business Park. If you think that the place sounds familiar, its because the place used to be the old Lexxus / ESP. Now, it is known as AMP Club.

Napoli Bar & Bistro @ Kepong Menjalara

All the while we have been searching for small TFC joints like 98, club 32 and Samantha's, where it is usually easy going, not aggressive and laid back. Heard there is a small joint like this in Kepong, and went there for a quick nite out.

The place in located in Kepong Menjalara.  Since it is not located in a commercial building, we will just state the address here.  No. 1, Jalan Medan Putra 4, Bandar Menjalara,  There is a hugh tinted glass door where there is a lookout chinese chap outside the joint.  You would missed it even if you want.

Alright, quick to the details.  The place is quite not what you expect when you get in, especially if you are

Kingsway Club @ Wisma Central

And Yes! We are back to the TFC scene.  Its has been a crazy bust year hence, we are tad bit quiet on visiting new places.  Wasting no time at all, below is the review of a new place in the heart of KL city centre, Kingsway Club.

The place is located in 2nd floor of Wisma Central.  It is just opposite Avenue K, right beside Menara Maxis (Maxis sucks) 555. You will not get to the club if you drive by or walk by.  Drive up the building's parking lot

Lexxus @ Fraser Business Park, KL

This piece of review is requested by one of our readers, Mr. T - no names mentioned for obvious reason lah! Coincidentally, it is a day that all my friends want to try a new place just because we have been looking at the same TY and same place for just too long!

Here comes Lexxus! I have to say that the KL area is usually not one of our favourite places to go. It is very far for all of us - 2 of us are from Subang and 2 more from Kepong. Also, it is usually very dodgy and run down places (last few times we go Cheras, not too impressed - the kind of back alley Tiu Fa Cheong!)

Paramount @ Kia Peng

Ok guys, I know what you are thinking. These guys have become very lazy and not been telling us the new and exciting places. So, we decided to go to the latest opening in KL and get some reviews for you!

Welcome to Paramount! Some calls it YES 3 as well. Same owners as YES (Previously RCA and now changed to Levels) and the famous YES 2 (Now ONYX). It is in Kia Peng..... and for those that have been to Kia Peng TFC before - NO, it is not the old Neverland. It is actually the old Butter Factory!
Save on your hotel - www.hotelscombined.com
So, we got there a little later than our usual timing - 10.30 pm coz most of the people I ask says that the girls only starts coming in at 10.30 pm! Got there on time and the parking lot is empty, VERY empty! It is also not cheap - RM 15 just to park your own car! Hey, but this is KL center, right?? A few of my friends park at the parking lot next to Novotel - only RM 5. Cheaper and you will need every sen savings to go to this place!

Billions Club @ Scotts Garden

Yes, it has been awhile since the last posting.  TFCs are eveywhere now, so many our livers have to work extra hard to cope up.  Nevertheless, wasted no time to tr out this outlet a couple of weeks back.

Billions Club is located in The Scott Garden at Kuchai Lama which we have not been patronizing since the glamour days of Hitz and Sense.  Didnt even notice that Hitz was closed for some time.
The club is located just behind Remedy (not remedy +).  If you are newbie Scott's, just take a stroll behind Movida and should be able to find it.  Or just search for the lok-lok stalls like what we always do.   There is 3 clubs in that row, Rest Room, Lucky Star 8 and Billions.
