Mercury @ Mont Kiara

Curi from their FB.... Sssshhhh

OK guys. Many of you have been asking me to review Mercury and normally my response was.... same as SugarB and OSS previously.... same place and nothing new. But boy am I wrong!!!

So, I got there with a bunch of friends, about 10 of us and some of them are just simply higher roller than me..... they are not extreme high rollers but high enough. We arrive and got a "Valet" parking there. All parking are "Valet"..... you park yourself, no assistance and the guy just come over and ask for RM 20. Must pay..... no pay, have to get out of parking..... bloody high price for parking! But never mind lah, just here to have fun..... right????

W Club @ Mont Kiara Solaris

Source: www.drinktalk.com

Yesterday was a party night. Started in Kepong local pub with about 9 big bottle of beer. It was a slow and boring night. So, as the clock strike midnight, all already gatal to leave and go somewhere else. So, we decided to go to W.

Drove there and the valet parking is still the same. RM 20 for parking your own damn car. Got in and on a freaking Saturday night, the damn place is FULL! I mean really FULL! We could not even find a table for 30 minutes! So, we waited and finally got a table nearer to the toilet.

Sugar B Club @ Mont Kiara

Sorry bros... forgot to take pic of entrance.
This is from their FB page.
OK guys, sorry for the MIA in the last 3 months. Was just too busy to pen down anything on this blog. But many things have happen! Went to The Land of Smiles and it was load of fun! I will talk about that another day. But for now, I wanna write a review of this place I went a couple of months back.

At that time, news is out. OSS is coming back. And it will be rename (like all TFC - they just love to rename themselves) Sugar B. Lots of Tom Yam have been posting on their FB and it feels like its gonna be the old OSS style.... lots of quality Tom Yam and lots of fun! So, naturally, we took it upon us to have a site visit and review the place out.

OSS @ Mont Kiara

It's been a very long time since I walk into OOS. So, decided last night to just drop in and try to have some fun! Boy! Much have changed.

Save on your hotel - www.hotelscombined.com
Let me just begin at the Valet service. Did you know that the charges now is at RM 20? Almost double from the last time I went! Also, they don't allow you to park near the entrance.... all reserved for bosses! WTF. Nevermind.

Club W @ Mont Kiara

Club W. This is one of the place that we have had most request to review. I think many have heard of it and it have been a mixed review by most people.

As usual, our time of arrival is always about 10 pm. It is located just next to OSS (actually, before OSS). For those that have STILL not been to OSS yet, it is in Solaris @ Mont Kiara. Map is attached below.

Valet parking is still at RM 12. Its not really valet, but more like parking fees. They do not park your car for you, just give you a space. So, do not complain on the valet charges. Alternative is to park at the underground carpark if you want to save a few bucks.

As we walk to Club W, there's a mamak style cafe just outside the Club and they are serving Boat Noodle style stuff. Thai food of course and usually, it is quite pack with people, especially the Tom Yams. A small entrance just to the right of the huge W sign (picture above). No fancy walkway. Just straight right into the action.

OSS Club @ Mont Kiara

For all you frequent flyers in the TFC scene, this place is not surprising to be featured in our first blog posting!

We got there at about 10 PM on a normal Wednesday and already finding it difficult to get a parking. After moving in circles in the area, the parking attendant pops up and direct us to a parking which is about 100m away from the entrance. I guess that's pretty alright since it is only a single row of parking available at the entrance of the Club. Parking charges are priced at RM 12 - Pretty expensive considering that we had to park the car our self and it was more like a public parking area than a valet service. But considering the task of finding a parking and moving in circles, let's not make any noise about RM 12.
